Sliders have fallen out of use on websites in recent years due to users not clicking through to see content. Vertical lists are being recommended for use instead. If a slider is used, we recommend limiting your slides to no more than 4 or 5.
This paragraph allows you to add content that will show in a slideshow with the ability to click through the content. Slider is available as a Wide (16:9) or Banner (3:1) format.
Instructions start on the Create or Edit page within a piece of content or custom block.
- Create Content using the Add Paragraph button
Choose Picture Grid from the list of Paragraphs in the Media section
OR
Edit Content using the Edit buttons - (Optional) Set the Section Title
- Check or Uncheck the Published checkbox
- Choose a Style for the text overlay on the slides
- Box, Gradient, None
- Check or Uncheck the Published checkbox
- (Optional) Set the Title
- (Optional) Give the Body some words to display (try to keep this short and concise)
Media
- (Optional) Set an Icon which will show up alongside the Title
- Choose a piece of Media using the Add media button.
Additional Options (optional)
- Link fields provide a link to another resource
- Click Add Item to add more items
- Repeats steps 6-12 until desired number of Items has been reached
- Return to step 2 to add more or edit existing Paragraphs
- Click Save
