Contact forms allow for users to quickly send short messages to the department or specific individuals. A Contact Us form has already been created for use on the site, as required by the University. However the form has been created with a generic thank you message and email address. This can be updated to be more specific for the individual department.
Note: DO NOT delete the Contact Us form or create new forms.
- Log in to the Drupal admin interface as an administrator.
- Go to the Structure menu and select Contact forms
- Click on Contact us or click edit in the same row
- The following fields can be updated as desired:
- Label - Title of the form that will show at the top of the form
- Recipients - Email addresses for the form responses to be sent. Further instructions can be found under the field textarea.
- Message - Message displayed to the user after the form has been completed.
- Redirect path - Content to send the user to once the form has been completed.
- Ignore Auto-reply and Weight
- Click Save
