Quick Access menu item has been set up to allow quick access to general settings for the website in general. Below you will find descriptions of each link and what they allow you to manage.
- Site Name - Name of the site which displays in the header of all content
- Slogan / Sub-brand
- Defaults to Division of Student Affairs but can be changed, please consult with Student Affairs Marketing for more information
- Slogan / Sub-brand URL
- Defaults to Student Affairs website but can be changed, please consult with Student Affairs Marketing for more information
- Email Address
- Default email address which the site uses to send email to users
- Please consult with Student Affairs Marketing if email address needs to be updated, as any change could interrupt messages being sent by the website
- Default front page
- Please set this to a known content URL
- Does not check if page exists, so please double check before saving
- Social Media
- Enabling social media icons will display them in the header of all content
- All, some, or none can be enabled
Please use caution. Clearing a site’s cache will require all users to reload site content, which can impact performance, making the site a little slow.
Sometimes content does not update in a timely manner and needs a little urging to work properly. Editors can clear the cache which will essentially flush the memory for the site and require all users to reload the data, making it the most up to date version of content.
