v4 Block

Ability to display Custom Blocks or prebuilt views based on content types. Each view is displayed using a block paragraph.

In Hydraulic v5, Filtered View has taken the place of this component and works very similarly.

Create a Block

Instructions start on the Create or Edit Page within a piece of content.

  1. Create Content using the Add Paragraph button
  2. Choose Block from the list of Paragraphs in the Other section
    OR
    Edit Content using the Edit button
  3. Enter a Section Title if you'd like one to display above the component
  4. Switch the Published field on or off for the component to be published or unpublished
  5. Choose a Block from the dropdown menu. The following options will slightly change depending on which you choose.
  1. Set the Title (field will be pre-populated based on custom block title)
  2. Check or Uncheck the Display title checkbox
  3. Return to step 2 to add more Paragraphs
  4. Click Save
  1. Check or Uncheck the Display title checkbox
  2. Choose the number of Items per block to display
  3. Check or Uncheck the Override title checkbox
  4. (optional) Set the Title
  5. Return to step 2 to add more Paragraphs
  6. Click Save
