Campus Events Widget

Localist, the company which provides support for Campus Events, provides the general public with a widget builder that allows the displaying of events on any website. The widget builder is easy to use and we provide a way to easily embed the code into our sites to get the events displaying quickly.

Field Options

  • Template - Choose the template layout to display the events
    • Event Card - Card view with date in a green box and other information displayed below a representative image
    • Event Feature - Full width card view with date in a green box and other information displayed beside a representative image
    • Event Simple - Full width card view without the green box for the date and no image
  • Number of Results - Maximum of 50
  • Days Ahead - Maximum of 365 days
  • Include Styles (near bottom) - Leave selected to keep widget looking nice
  • Experience - Allows filtering of events by In-Person, Hybrid, or Remote
  • Groups, Departments, Places, Event Type, Audience, Athletics & Sports, Keywords and Tags
    • Choose filters based on the criteria to limit the events to specific areas
  • Only Show Featured, Only Show Sponsored, Include All Matching Instances, Hide Past Events
    • Checkboxes to allow further filtering on select criteria
  • Content Must Match
    • At least one place, group, keyword or tag, and one filter item
    • Any place, group, keyword, tag, or filter item
    • At least one place and group, and all keywords, tags, and filter items
    • Any place or group, and at least one keyword or tag, and one filter item
  • Experience - Allows filtering of events by In-Person, Hybrid, or Remote
  • Groups, Departments, Places, Event Type, Audience, Athletics & Sport
    • Choose to exclude events based on criteria
