What is Hydraulic

Welcome to Hydraulic! Whether you are a first-time editor or a seasoned site builder, we can all use a refresher from time to time. Here you'll find some basic information about the platform, what is available to you as an editor, and how to ask for new features.

Hydraulic is an "out of the box" website offering, built on top of the open source Drupal platform. It is built and maintained by OneIT - Student Affairs to meet Charlotte web standards and provide a robust and intuitive site-building experience. This allows our editors the ability to create beautiful, content-rich websites with ease.

We strive to meet the success criteria outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 AA (WCAG 2.2 AA). The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops and maintains these guidelines. Following these guidelines help people with disabilities percieve, operate, understand, and fully enjoy content.
